Kuteno 2023: A Lot of Potential in Northern Germany

As the northern counterpart to the KPA in Ulm, Kuteno 2023 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, from 09.05.-11.05.2023, impressed with a high demand from exhibitors and participants, which led to the opening of an additional exhibition floor in 2023. Here, formary was present as an exhibitor in Hall 4, Stand T9-1.

The Kuteno Plastics Technology North offered us a unique platform to present our vision, innovations, and digital solutions in the plastics technology industry. In addition to

…formary was the only solution provider in the thermoforming sector at the Kuteno Plastics Fair. This created a unique potential to also convince potential customers from other manufacturing areas in plastics processing of thermoforming solutions and to establish industry contacts at the Kuteno.

Expanding the Supplier Network through Kuteno

We are pleased that our participation in the Kuteno trade fair in the north gave us the opportunity to expand our supplier network in this region. Over the past few years, formary has worked intensively to establish a strong and reliable supplier network.

Potential Suppliers in the North

Due to an excellent presence of thermoforming companies and the local proximity, this network has already been established extensively in the south. The Supplier Management team took advantage of the local proximity of the Kuteno to visit potential suppliers in the north and discuss onboardings.

Kuteno Highlight: Expert Lecture by formary Co-Founder

The organizers of the Kuteno trade fair invited formary Co-Founder Moritz Bittner to the expert lecture stage as a representative of the start-up community. As a platform solution in the plastics industry, he discussed the topic “Asset Sharing in Thermoforming – How Manufacturers and Customers Benefit Equally from Sharing Mechanisms.”

In the lecture, the expert audience at the plastics fair learned how the interplay of technology, developments, and market-side customer requirements over the past few years has led to asset-sharing platforms, following the model of successful models in the consumer segment, also contributing to relevant efficiency gains in the B2B sector.

Advantages of formary as a Platform

Finally, at the Kuteno trade fair, it was demonstrated using formary as an example how simplification and digital processing of inquiries and orders result in advantages. The cost-reducing effects of the automatic matching mechanism from inquiry to the optimal supplier are another significant benefit.
